Objectives:
- To ensure that newly isolated microorganisms are properly characterized and maintained in dedicated culture collections in order to be made available for research and industrial use.
- To provide information to potential users on all genetic and phenotypic traits of the strains deposited to the collections.
- To develop strain preservation protocols (cryo-preservation and innovative approaches).
